TSI AUTOMOTIVE MEASUREMENTS & ELECTRICAL SAFETY PANEL

The TSI Automotive Test and  Measurements and Electrical Safety  panel is a useful training resource that helps students to better understand the basic concepts of using automotive test and measurement equipment by performing different practical hands on automotive related measurements on the panel using an multimeter , oscilloscope and clamp meter and even a diagnostic tester if this option is chosen . This  gives the trainee the fundamentals of many electrical safety standards and how to correctly use standard test equipment in an automotive workshop.

The measurement includes for example. , canbus , inductive sensor, passive devices ,frequency, Singel and 3 phase voltage, current and many more automotive related measurements and tests.

The Training panel is double sided and also provides hands on practical tasks and demonstration in of electrical protective safety  divises as well as demonstrating the risk of  personal injuries working with high voltage in cars

The double sided mobile trainer has been specifically designed for Automotive Instructors and students and it places emphasis on electrical safety within a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) or Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) environment.

It also provides an excellent hands-on resource for training automotive students in the basic use of common workshop electrical test equipment including digital multimeters, voltage testers and service scopes/oscilloscopes.

Features:

  • Designed to cover major electrical safety standards.
  • Exclusive automotive-relative design and attractive presentation of each schematic block.
  • This trainer represents a range of safety precautions and electrical measurement techniques that must be taken when working on HEV and BEVs.
  • Unique demonstration of the importance of earthing and earth leakage.
  • Demonstration of the application of circuit breakers.
  • Demonstration of the uses of fuses.
  • Basic Fault finding.

The purpose of this side of the demonstrator panel is to increase the students awareness of:-

  • How to use electricity safely in the home and the workplace.
  • The dangers associated with the power lines, substations and EV Charge points.
  • The effects of electrocution on the body.
  • The danger of Arc flash in high voltage circuits.
  • Strategies for avoiding and dealing with the electrical accidents.
  • The correct use of fuses and fusing.
  • The applications of MCBs (Miniature Circuit Breakers).
